Our English Language Learning Program is here to help students, families, and teachers promote the achievement of students learning English. Each of our schools has English Language Learning teachers who teach English Language Learners the components of the English language in language-ability based groups to raise their academic achievement.

Mary Urich, ELL Director

Mary works with program coordination involving ELL curriculum, state reporting, coaching, modeling, and helping to implement SEI models and current research based trainings. She organizes trainings, researches best teaching practices, organizes student records, state language testing and files, and provides training for parents and teachers.

Carmen Romero, ELL Program Specialist

Carmen works with program data entry for state reporting and student files and records, and organizes state language testing.

The English Language Learner Program offers free tutoring for English Language Learners. Programming will begin in early November. Register now to reserve your child’s place. All tutoring will be at each school site.

Locations

K-5th Grade:  Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays from 2:30-5:00 with Bus Transportation Home for 1st-5th Graders.
 
6th-12th Grade:  Mondays-Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 with Bus Transportation Home for 6th-12th Graders.
